Medior DevOps Engineer

Groningen / hybrid·32–40 hours·€4,000–€5,000

Do you want to build an AI assistant that helps lawyers work faster, better and more carefully? You keep LegalMike running securely, scalably and reliably, from development environment to production.

What will you do?

As a Medior DevOps Engineer you're part of a multidisciplinary product team working on LegalMike, an AI assistant for legal professionals. You bridge development, AI and infrastructure and take ownership of the technical reliability of the platform.

  • Design, build and manage cloud infrastructure for LegalMike.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate deployments, monitoring and incident response.
  • Safeguard availability, performance and scalability.
  • Implement security and compliance measures around privacy and data protection.
  • Contribute to architecture, cost optimisation and technical choices.

A workday at Researchable

You start the day with the stand-up of the combined Researchable and LegalMike team. Together you discuss releases, performance metrics and any incidents. After that you work on the CI/CD pipeline or automate infrastructure through infrastructure-as-code. In the afternoon you align with an AI engineer on the resource usage for a new model, review a deployment strategy and improve monitoring and logging.

Who are you?

You get energy from stable systems, smart automation and continuously improving infrastructure. You think ahead and spot risks before they become problems.

Must-haves

  • At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer.
  • University-level working and thinking ability.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD and automated deployments.
  • Experience with the GitOps way of working (ArgoCD).
  • Experience with containers and/or orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes or similar).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM).
  • Knowledge of monitoring, logging and alerting, and experience with Scrum.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with security, compliance and privacy.
  • Affinity with AI-driven products.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry.
  • A background in programming.
